This is gonna be a long birthday post for the people I (L). Not a very expressive person but I’ve figured that if I keep everything inside I might not ever get the chance to let them know how important they are to me and I know how it feels like missing the opportunity to tell someone you love them and that you did not take them for granted.

So 10th November marks the birth date of many people I know and love, my uncle who have groomed me up showering me with father love I have lost while growing up and so much more to add to this list. But i don't think there's a need to since I don't think he's able to read it.LOL

Next up, Happy birthday Neosy ! Sucha sweet friend of mine never fails to make me laugh at his loud voice and silly actions. He is such a good friend with father qualities , always showering all of us with his fatherly love, he kept things like tissues and umbrella which a girl should bring in his bag like a doraemon (I don't even bring a tissue out needless to say an umbrella ella ella eh eh). Always there to support me when I'm down, blabbering nonsense , wasted , or feeling whiny and cheer me up with his lame logics but does make sense in a neosy theory. ^^ oh yeah~ I didn't forget the times when we were in class, so much joy to have him around. He's like my competitor in physics class for 2 solid years, competing for the second place from the back in class ! But in the end it was pointless cos we both got the same fail grade for O's. LMAO. But that's not the only funny thing, I still remember I causing him and zl to be punished in class and have to do like what ? 50 push ups or prolly more ? hahahhaha. you'll say that your fears of being in a relationship is caused by phobia , phobia of being hurt. Truth is, many people are victims when it comes to love. People are bound to get hurt in this game. We all know it is difficult to prevent hurt that's why we would rather not try it out.

So what if you have been ditched badly? To me, I believe that someone better might come along. (and that was what happened to me (L) ^^) And if that someone better happened to be just like your previous then it just goes to show that he's just another jerk and you guys are not compatible.

And when there is no capatibility between the two, it is useless , no matter how hard you try to salvage it. Sad but true. There will still be love but how much of that would be left in time to come? I guess , compatibility and commitment is what scares people the most. I often get scared of all these too, especially the compatibility part. It's like the most basic that couples need to be compatible, I'm not just saying the characters/personality have to be compatible I guess somehow looks matters too.

Spent my advanced halloween/m0nTh$@Ry at Night safari . Took the tram ride with Leon, there were two empty seats beside me and during the ride one of the "ghost" jumped in and scared the hell outta me! ZZzzZ the rest were standing along the sides to scare the people in the tram . We Q-ed for like 1 and a half hour for the haunted house , I thought it was gonna be lame like the one i went in genting but in turns out it was pretttty exciting i must say. Leon and I walked in front followed by the rest , I got shocked the minute i came in already i immediately squat down like a pussycat ): then acted brave and i can't believe L and I collaborated with one of the "ghost" inside to scare the rest behind us. This is a continous post of my stay @ the hotel with the family, Leonieboy came and we played wii the whole evening in the room . The volleyball game is a goddamn joke game i swear! I can't control the players, felt damn retarded doing the actions damn vigourously and I accidently hit Love with the nunchuck lol

This is another day spent with Love, had xiao long bao and Za jiang mian for dindin with my momsypie . My tummy felt so bloated like 3 months lor ZZZzzZ after dinz we wanted to catch a midnight movie but we missed our timing cos the school finally reset my password and I wentu check my results.

We ended up walking like we're on some gameshow, need to complete the amazing race or something. We walked from town to cityhall to raffles to one fullerton to laupasat then back to the hotel @ tanjong pagar at 3 furreaking am. It took us about an hour and a half ? Including multiple pit stops , kept buying drinks/my fav strawberry ice cream from 7-eleven/cheers. My legs weren't exactly aching but it's like numb, good workout , good experience. I don't think I'll ever do it again . okay maybe , but in a year's time prolly heh ^_^

From the first day I saw you on the bus when we both made our way home wearing the same exact light green colored blouse and dark green skirt with a little tree logo on the left side of the pocket of the blouse, I knew we would be best friends. Cheesy yet true, it is such a joy to have you by my side despite our busy schedule now, it was amazing how this whole hunniebobo thing came about. Certainly miss every silly things we encounter and those days when we used to talk about our big dreams, laughing at practically every single thing getting misunderstandings from people thinking we’re laughing at them, breaking into the function room when the guards are not looking, climbing rooftops, running home crazily in the night(we still do sometimes), hanging by the roadside outside the army camp, risking our life to take photos at the railway track, getting chased by a perv in orchard road, having small conversations with different types of uncles (I seriously don’t know why they like to chat with us ranging from cabbie/bus drivers, shop owners, ah pek in our school etc), studying for every exams together (though we have totally diff combination of subjects), chillaxing under the moon by the pool (I remember J’s mom hiding behind the pillar just to keep an eye on us swimming since it was during ghost month we couldn’t be bothered with being superstitious), the times we fool the teachers that we’re cousins and our friends we’re sisters , of course the loser times when we got scolded by dance instructor during warm ups and dance pracs for talking to each other too much and we had to be separated far away from each other, not forgetting the deep shits we’ve gotten ourselves into and the list goes on. Met jessica , one of my closer friend back in IJ last week . Just flashing back and thinking how cute we were with the little white blouse underneath the blue pleated pinafore along with the midwaist belt but prolly low waist belt for the "cool kids" then highwaist belts were usually labelled as nerds back then , but i don't see it as nerdy , in contrary i think it's a trend . I just can't stand some girls who wears them directly under their boobies (THAT IS NOT EVEN HIGHWAIST LOR) and it's not a very nice sight isn't it ? hah . Mini gossip session and revealing of ugly past , I feel kinda disgusted with myself . If only i could rewind and mend those childish parts I think I would have better memories and i could prolly write a better entry naming it memoirs of my life in the little convent school . BUT NO... KNS . Life sucks for me, especially when I was in primary 6 I had to deal with dad's death and some childish girly friendship problems which I regretted much. We were about to meet our friends at the entrance of Topshop but little did we know that there was some event going on ? The people were dressed in different types of ghost costumes ranging from chinese zombies to green monsters and walking paper dolls you know the dolls where chinese use to burn it to offer the dead ? Bloody hell those things were charging towards me and I got freaked out by the green monster I screamed and ran in to Aldo which was beside topshop hoping I won't bump into it. Sadly , it saw my fears and chased me all the way in I had to hide behind hun which I am certain wuz as timid as I am just that she's putting up a hero front. Other than that it wuz just an ordinary day spent with hun and some friends and our midnight ended with 7 people squeezed in a 5 seater car thank god for the short journey home . beh .

One of the many reasons why people chose to be single and not settle down is because they think that they can find a better girl/guy in future. And always always , people would put this idea into people's mind , " Don't give up the entire forest for one tree" .

To me, I think that this is just an excuse for parents to tell their children not to get into relationships because they are too young. Some people may think that secondary school relationships would not last (i still think it's somehow possible if the two are really compatible and approved by everyone - haha) but I guess it's how different people sees it . I mean if you've found the right one and feel that no other guy/girl will be better why not make it last right unless he's just another jerk who cheats on you / hindering your studies /affecting relationships with your friends and family Otherwise I don't see what is stopping people from getting into relationships when you're young.

If only I could turn back time , I would want to only date one guy in my life and marry my childhood sweetheart wouldn't that be sweet ? no? (but like so fairy tale hahahahah)

Relationships are messy , many would rather be alone or remain this way throughout their life. I used to think it that way too , but not anymore .

Doing this for the sake CE points, but this event turns out better than i expected. Great company , free cokes , popcorns , candyfloss and free tickets to the yog concert. While searching for the click five and 4minute tickets, one of the envelope containing the ticket fell into the pond at the entrance of my school and it wuz freaking hilarious i swearrr. we immediately burst out laughing at the ticket and the singer who fell inside . This week started off pretty alright, been catching up with my sleep lately I can never get enough of it ! I still need more hours of sleep ! Saturday night after teambuidling and town with the classmates, saw me playing the swing at the playground downstairs Bren's condo. I just love the feeling when the swing goes all the way up and there's a tickling feeling inside my tummy just like sitting space shot okay maybe not. Swing is just cheapthrill. Then, I thought for awhile, sthe swing totally reminded me of the korean movie , the blood pledge where there is a scene the ghost was swinging beside a girl in the night. What made it even more scary when I was swinging was that some korean kids walked towards the playground and wanted to play the swing too. Creepy ttm !

After a couple of drinking games, I realised I forgot to bring my keys and I was locked outside. No choice had to wait for about an hour or 2 for my brother to come home which was almost 6 in the morning. In between I fell asleep and when I woke up, I wuz told that I slept walk around the pillars at my lobby and returned back to the poolside to continue sleeping. Totally can't remember , I still don't believe how did I manage to sleepwalk ? Goshh I must be really tired after a long day in school-town-chillin session.

Dropped by CityP and helped hun out with the studio after school. Enjoyed every moment in CityP, my lovely bosses , the pretty clothes I can look at/touch , the friendly neighbours and customers and they never fail to make my day (: A bus driver talked to us and make us feel so flattered, goshhh his laughter I tell you, damn joke. Made us laugh all the way even after we tapped out. Funny how we never fail to experience this kinda things. This adds up to 100001th strange thing that happened to us when we're together! Weird ! Have been spending my saturdays working at the shop and busy exam weeks , 2 more paper to go and it'll be over ): Don't look forward to the last major one in sept totally reminds me of the Olvl doomz days where i chose to go out instead of mugging. But i never regretted where i ended up to - im lovin it' but the thought of how slack I wuz and always telling myself " O lvls is not your everything, what matters most is your quality of life" makes me feel guilty. Well then I must have a change of mindset and balance my schoolwork and playtime wisely.

I strive to be a perfectionist,yet somehow i am contridicting myself because I tend to give up quite easily. Especially, giving up something that doesn't belong to me or something I have zero interest in (science) yes science is still my worse nightmare. Everytime i see it , it just gives me phobia though science lessons were the most fun lessons back when i wuz still in hilly.

I saw an old man holding a bag of tissues, his wife disabled with her walking stick beside her together with another bag of tissues. I gave them some money when they approached me. Some will say it's a deed. Some will say I'm foolish. Well, it's not wrong to give some money to them even if I don't get any tissues in return. If they can find a job, they won't even be selling tissues. Since WE can afford why not just purchase 3 packets of tissues? 2bux do make a difference just that we can't see it.

Spent my sunday father's day noon having brunch @ raffles with my relatives . Can't remember the restaurant's name STM again ): I've been suffering from severe STM these days and I think it is the lack of rest or my brain is getting smaller in size , brain damage hah.

So anyway wuz so damn shagged after brunch but I hate taking naps in the evening cause I won't be able to sleep in the night and will feel even more shagged after. so I decided to google about the harmful effects/results of drinking and my research led me to even more knowledge about alcohol ! ALCOHOL’S DAMAGING EFFECTS ON THE BRAIN-- LIKE DUH everyone should know

Drinking causes difficulty in walking, blurred vision, slurred speech, slowed reaction times, impaired memory: Clearly, alcohol affects the brain. Some of these are detectable after only one or two drinks and quickly resolve when drinking stops.

Alcohol can produce detectable impairments in memory after only a few drinks and, as the amount of alcohol increases, so does the degree of impairment. Large quantities of alcohol, especially when consumed quickly and on an empty stomach, can produce a blackout, or an interval of time for which the intoxicated person cannot recall key details of events, or even entire events.

BLACKOUTS AND MEMORY LAPSES

Blackouts are much more common among social drinkers regardless of age or whether the drinker is clinically dependent on alcohol.

Women are more vulnerable than men to many of the medical consequences of alcohol use. For example, alcoholic women develop cirrhosis , alcohol–induced damage of the heart muscle (i.e., cardiomyopathy) , and nerve damage (i.e., peripheral neuropathy) after fewer years of heavy drinking than do alcoholic men.

Male and female alcoholics both showed significantly greater brain shrinkage than control subjects. Studies also showed that both men and women have similar learning and memory problems as a result of heavy drinking .

BRAIN DAMAGE AND OTHER RESULTS OF DRINKING

People who have been drinking large amounts of alcohol for long periods of time run the risk of developing serious and persistent changes in the brain. Damage may be a result of the direct effects of alcohol on the brain or may result indirectly, from a poor general health status or from severe liver disease.

Most people realize that heavy, long–term drinking can damage the liver, the organ chiefly responsible for breaking down alcohol into harmless byproducts and clearing it from the body. But people may not be aware that prolonged liver dysfunction, such as liver cirrhosis resulting from excessive alcohol consumption, can harm the brain, leading to a serious and potentially fatal brain disorder known as hepatic encephalopathy.

Hepatic encephalopathy can cause changes in sleep patterns, mood, and personality; psychiatric conditions such as anxiety and depression; severe cognitive effects such as shortened attention span; and problems with coordination such as a flapping or shaking of the hands (called asterixis). In the most serious cases, patients may slip into a coma (i.e., hepatic coma), which can be fatal.

And i strongly suggest teens should not start drinking at a young age as our brains are still developing . You won't want to jeopardise your thinking skills right ? Not only that , drinking causes beer belly and fats in other areas like the arms and it is hard to get rid of it . If you want to start drinking , you better think twice.

countless times of going down to level 2 and up to 3 again , opening and closing shutters approx 7-8 times in a day , bringing in and out the mannequinns and racks , dragged a huge and heavy box of wooden hangers all de way up like a fool , steaming clothes , carried heavy stocks , serving irritating customers one of them I encountered today started off quite okay then she had lots of questions about the bag like what is it made of ? from where ? when did it arrive ? Cost? etc okai but that's not the point she was in doubt if it's the 100% leather or not . But c'mon it's known that authentic leather will cost much much more! So anyways she kept asking me to call my boss to gv her discounts yada yada . House warming @ cuz's place , literally lorry of food which is called the lok lok the one Msia is famous for , also known as the roadside steamboat ? I don't recommend people who've weak stomach to eat from this truck no matter how good it taste cuz afterall it's still roadside food and sharing with strangers. I always believe in that.

So, it is 11th May again. 5 years since you part from us. I could barely recognise your voice, perhaps I was too young? Can you imagine not having someone whom I love and respect and you thought was gonna be with you to see you in your process of growing up? Where were you when I was growing up? How I wish you'd be there like others.

It breaks my heart to see the fear in my mother's eyes. The panic when she came running to us, breaking the sad news. The saddness in her heart, the tears in her eyes and her painful screams beside his deathbed. And it breaks my heart even more to see him with his eyes closed, hands feeling so cold and soo .. , he was gone. Gone forever, never coming back , never coming home. The voice inside my head was constantly repeating that phrase. It was only then I realised the importance of cherish. But it was too late.

I hugged the last doll you gave. I could barely sleep for the next few days. You know it was so hard to let you go, I could never forget the sight of you slowly being pushed in for crimination. The sight was just unbearable, I broke down into tears, I fell to the ground screaming out loud begging you to come back. You know, anyone one present at that time would listen how painful my scream was but I don't care whether it is embarassing or not. Cause all I could think of is wishing you'd come back to us.

When mother's day came across my mind, the first thing I'd think of is not about the presents, but how incredible she is. The love she have showered my siblings and I , her sacrifices for the family, the things she have done even the little things like washing the clothes, preparing meals. I look up to all mothers, even young ones. Cause I know it is not easy being a mother. Bringing the child to the world is not an easy job. Considering the fact that it is an addition to the family, some may think it is another burden some may treat it as a gift from heaven. Though you may say that some have no choice cause of shotgun and yadayada but still giving birth isn't something easy and imagine the pain mothers went through.

It is not easy to take care of a family and it is even more difficult for a single or widow mom. Like every other kid in the world, I am here to express my love to my beloved momsypie. She is someone who'll never let us down. Someone so willing and devoted. Even at her most vulnerable period of time, she still stays strong for us. She never fails to fulfill her duty as a mother. I know this may sound damn cheesy but I am gonna say that I am indeed very lucky to have her. I wouldn't want to exchange her for someone elses mum (my close friends would know what do i mean by that!hehe) Lastly, I love you mommy. There are many things in life that we do without thinking and regretted after doing it . Advices , they are shared to us because people don't want us to repeat their mistakes . Of course , you'll say that " People grow up faster when they learn from their own mistakes " But ! since you've been told so why not learn from others instead ? The period of hols wuz just fantastic I am not afraid to admit that those were the best days of my life, well at least for now I know it is true. Partying without worries like oh damn gotta be home early for school the next day, life was just about parties,fun,fammies & bromance. I certainly miss those days, VERY MUCH. I seriously don't know about the rest but I think people just move on with their own life and soon before you even know, we'll be out of school again and out in the working world for some. Further studies for some and prolly NS for the guys. Change is scary. Trust me, we all have something to be afraid of . It's a matter of how you manage those fears.

Often people don't realize that the little things they do in life are being judged by others . They do certain things without thinking whether they are in a right or wrong . Today , on my way to work , I saw two " bengs " waiting for a cab at the bus stop . A maid and an old lady was standing at the other end of the bus stop waiting for a cab as well . I was sitting down eating my breakfast . Not Long after I finished , a cab finally came . It drove past the "bengs" and stopped for the old lady and the maid . I'd do the exact same thing If I were the driver ! Moments later , I witnessed one of the guy shouted knncb after the old lady and maid went in the cab . Don't know who came first but I think it's not the big issue in this case . I personally think that it is super childish of him to do that . And his friend threw the cigarette bud on the road even though the bin is like 2 metres away ? What a retard . So what if you're rushing or late for something ? You should always give priority to the elderly just like giving up your seat for them in the bus or tube , right ? Many take the old for granted . How many of you would actually give up your seat for them ? How many would ease their job by taking flyers ? How many of you are willing to buy tissues from them ? (even though many may think selling tissues is a scam cause distributors hire them to sell?) but how expensive can 3 packets of tissue cost ? Why not lend a helping hand by buying ? This is their job . Who knows if any one of us might just end up selling tissues in future ? We really can't predict our future . A very sad and cold world we live in isn't it ? In less than one week from today most of us are gonna start a new chapter of life , new school , new timetable , new classmates , new circle of friends and prolly a new CCA . Frankly speaking , I'm really not ready for the start of all these . I am so comfortable with how life is treating me right now . I don't want this routine of waking up and looking forward to meeting people i love everyday to end . And the thought of everybody being separated into different schools and courses ... sigh .. all the more I don't look forward to school . It's like every girl's dream job okay maybe not every girl but you have to agree with me that anyone would love to work here ! Cmon being able to look at pretty clothes , anticipating new arrivals every now and then , get to talk to customers (pretty ones) , over-friendly neighbours beside , wireless SG (niceee) , cheap and good food (ever ready to be delivered with just one phone call) and not forgetting understanding+reasonable bosses ! What moar can I ask for !! Journey is a lil inconvenient but it's okay !! (: I can't imagine life without caramelle ! ): Gonna miss all those badly , yesss THAT BAD .

Caramelle is my second job this holiday , my first wuz BestofBlogshop which was beyond description hah then lastly I had to leave caramelle early march for a short period of time for Sinair , my uncle's office which was pretty cool i must say . Learnt a lot from him and the staffs , pick up calls , issue air tickets , gossips yadayada . I kinda miss them awwwready . Although , it may be tiring waking up at 7am every morning and knocking off at 6pm , taking two buses , squeezing myself up with all the working adults , well at least i get to experience office job 9-6 . I better learn to enjoy my life as a student right now to the fullest cos time flies when you're having fun ! (:

Don't really have much to elaborate cos half of the time on the second night was just bullshit , and not forgetting taking care of drunkards which also includes cleaning their puke with my bare hands . Tryna carry them and put them to sleep is like asking for my life . TRUST ME . It freaking annoyed the shit outta me but stephanie being stephanie still beared with it without complaints :D hahahha . okay maybe a lil harmless rant here and there . Not forgetting to mention about the old auntie who came and join us . She's like ... hot topic after the chalet HAHAHA (those who went will know) . one more thing , I should only get high with selected people ... bad bad experience .. disappointed . hahahah . overall it was still good though cos nothing beats spending time with good ol friends :D
